presented their developments at the forum “Critical Infrastructure Security and Humanitarian Mine Action”
The event was held on May 17, 2023 in Kyiv
On May 17, 2023, the Mercure Congress Centre conference hall in Kyiv, with the support of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine, the State Concern Ukroboronprom, and the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, hosted the forum “Critical Infrastructure Security and Humanitarian Mine Action” organized by Euroindex (founder of the SECURITY 2.0 exhibition brand – Security exhibition). The forum brought together experts to address the urgent problems of restoring life safety, protecting critical infrastructure, industry and energy facilities, and accelerating the process of demining the de-occupied territories. Scientists from the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine also joined the event.
The meeting consisted of the forum itself – with expert panel discussions, presentations of modern technologies and solutions, practical recommendations and training for specialists – and an exposition that demonstrated modern technical means and equipment for security, fire and industrial protection, as well as equipment and technologies for mine action.
At the exposition, 14 scientific institutions of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine presented their developments: the Institute of Artificial Intelligence Problems, the International Research and Training Center for Information Technologies and Systems, the Kurdyumov Institute of Metallophysics, the Usikov Institute of Radiophysics and Electronics, the Scientific Center for Aerospace Research of the Earth of the Institute of Geological Sciences, the Institute of Mathematical Machines and Systems, the Research Center for Subsoil Use Problems “GEOSURS, the Institute of Superhard Materials named after V.M. Bakul, the Institute of Energy Modeling named after V.M. Pukhov, the Institute of Gas, the Institute of Technical Thermophysics (in absentia), the Institute of Physical and Organic Chemistry (in absentia), the Institute of Technical Thermophysics (in absentia), the Institute of Technical Dynamics and Bakul Institute of Superhard Materials, G.E. Pukhov Institute for Modeling Problems in Energy, Gas Institute, Institute of Electrodynamics (part-time), Institute of Technical Thermophysics, L.M. Litvinenko Institute of Physical and Organic Chemistry and Coal Chemistry, and V.I. Vernadsky Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry.
